    Assists all business during the time that the temporary restrictions are in place and ordered by the Governor of Virginia. We are open for business with most businesses moving their business to the streets. Main Street is closed to allow this to happen. Sponsored by: Town of Front Royal. Main Street closure begins at 4:30 pm on Friday and ends 7:00 am on Monday every weekend until the Governor's Order that covers temporary dining is rescinded or November 30 (weather permitting) whichever comes first.

  2. Warren County Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

    October 31, 2020, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

    Warren County will be holding its Annual Residential Clean-Up Day on Saturday, October 31st from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. There will be open-top containers for bulky items, such as old furniture or appliances, at the following locations: --Park N’ Ride on Dismal Hollow Road in Linden --Transfer Station on Shangri-La Road in Bentonville --Shenandoah Farms Fire Department off Howellsville Road The County will also be holding its Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, October 31st from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Front Royal Volunteer Fire Department off Commerce Avenue. If you have any questions, please call the Public Works Department at (540) 636-1543.

    10-11 am: Dog Costume Parade and judging 1-2 pm: Wedding on the Gazebo 4 pm: Children's Costume Parade with judging and prizes 5 pm: Trick or Treat on Main Street. Merchants and County Businesses will be passing out treats! 7 pm: Lighting of the Jack o' Lanterns (and awards) Bring your own pumpkin or carve one! Throughout the day, there will be some pumpkin carving, kids' activities, and candy apple making.

  6. Free Trick or Treat Photos with Goodies - Turnmeyer Galleries

    FREE photos of the kids. Bring the kids by Turnmeyer Galleries Halloween night as we are handing out goodies (safely!!!), but we are also doing free photos of the kids!! We'll have our studio set up with a cool Halloween backdrop and Scott and his staff will be snapping quick shots of all of the kids as they come in for the goodies. All photos will be posted on Facebook where the friends and family can tag and share all that they wish. No charge to the public for the free photo posted to Facebook. No reservations needed. First come, first serve. Photographer reserves the right to turn down individuals for photos. Candy for the kids will be available as long as supplies last.
