The Front Royal Town Council will hold the following Public Hearings on Monday, December 9, 2019, as part of the regular Council meeting, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Warren County Government Center's Board Meeting Room
1) an amendment to the FY 2019-2020 Budget concerning a list of outstanding purchase orders that the Finance department has compiled, totaling $11,182,627.66, based on the final audit results that need to be carried forward to the FY2019-2020 budget cycle to complete unfinished projects. Funding will be offset from the appropriate fund balance reserves for each fund indicated, the revenue for these projects having been connected in previous budget cycle, as follows: General Fund $796,160.21; Special Projects $1,499,319.22; Electric Fund $540,077.52; Sewer Fund $4,302,633.43; Water Fund $2,917,420.97; Solid Waste Fund $247,739.29; Street Fund $879,277.02. TOTAL= $11,182,627.66. At said hearing, any and all interested citizens will be given an opportunity to express their views.
2) to consider an ordinance to amend or remove FR Town Code Section 134-71(A)(1)(e) by eliminating a personal guaranty requirement on Subchapter C corporations, but retaining it on other business entities or eliminating a personal guaranty requirement on all business entities regardless of type.
