The Town Council is searching for citizens who are interested in serving on the Urban Forestry Advisory Commission (UFAC). Created in 1999, UFAC is a 6-member panel appointed by Council responsible for promoting and protecting public health, safety and general welfare for the regulation of the planting, maintenance, preservation and removal of trees within the Town of Front Royal on both public property and private property during land-disturbing activities. (Town Code Chapter 156)

Those interested in serving must be citizens living within the Town of Front Royal or the County of Warren. Qualification shall be citizens with skills and an expressed interest in urban forestry, landscaping and/or arboriculture.  Each member is appointed to a 4-year term. Meetings are held once a month or as needed.
