Wastewater Treatment

The Town owns and operates a Wastewater Treatment Plant to treat sewage from its residents and several Warren County customers. The plant is rated to treat 4.0 million gallons of wastewater per day (MGD), but is being improved to increase to treatment capacity, as well as meet the stringent requirements for discharging treated effluent into a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay.

The Town's Wastewater Treatment Plant can accept residential septage from permitted septage haulers. Permits are issued through the Warren County Administrator's Office located in the Warren County Government Center, 202 North Commerce Avenue and can be reached at 540-636-4600.

Recreational Vehicle Wastewater

The Town's Wastewater Treatment Plant can receive recreational vehicle wastewater, DAILY from 8:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. The Dump Station is located on Manassas Avenue Extended. *Dump tickets must be pre-purchased at the Town's Business Office located in Town Hall at 102 E. Main Street, Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 4:30 p.m.* They may also be contacted at 540-635-7799.
