The Town maintains landscaping at its government buildings and in several garden areas located in medians around Town. The Town of Front Royal has won several Beautification Awards for its landscaping. The areas developed and maintained by the Horticulturist include:

- Front Royal Visitor's Center
- Main Street Gazebo
- Main Street Sign (Main Street at Commerce Avenue)
- Water Street Island
- Gateway (North Shenandoah Avenue - 14th Street to South Fork Bridge)
- Riverton Intersection (North Shenandoah Avenue at Strasburg Road)
- Water Tower (Fairgrounds Road)
- Front Royal Police Department (West Main Street)
- Prospect Street at Commerce Avenue
- Royal Avenue (South Royal Avenue at South Street and Chester Street at Shell Gas Station)
- Civil War Information (North Royal Avenue Extended)
- John Marshall Highway at Richmond Road
- South Royal Avenue to Criser Road
- Front Royal Electric Department
- Bowman Park (Luray Avenue)
- Maintenance Yard (Town Shop Crosby Road)
- Royal Oak Park (Peyton Street) and
- Peyton Street.
