Timothy W. Darr

Timothy W. Darr was elected Mayor of Front Royal effective July 1, 2010. Prior to that time, he served on the Front Royal Town Council from 2004 to 2008, including his time as Vice Mayor from 2006 to 2008. Tim also served on the Warren County School Board for five years; two years as Chairman and two years as Vice Chairman

Mayor Darr is a native of Front Royal. He is employed by the U.S. Department of Defense as a Supervisor Physical Security Specialist for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. Tim is a past Master of Unity Lodge #146 A.F.A.M.; a member of Washington Lodge #78 in Washington, Virginia; the ACCA Shrine of Richmond, Virginia; B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge #2382; the Warren County Chapter of Izaak Walton League; the Front Royal Warren County Humane Society; Front Royal Moose Lodge #829; and the Shenandoah Valley Runners Club. Tim and his wife Tammy, reside on W. 15th Street and they have two daughters, Nicole and Haylie.
