Section 38-3 PROCESSING OF FINGERPRINTS.

Upon receipt of the fingerprints and the appropriate fees, the Front Royal Police Department will transmit both sets of fingerprints and appropriate fees to the Central Criminal Records Exchange (CCRE) and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The CCRE will compare the subject's fingerprints and personal descriptive information against its criminal file and, upon receipt of an applicant's record or application that no record exists, shall make a report to the Town Manager. In the event that the CCRE is requested to submit the fingerprints and personal descriptive information to the FBI, the results of the FBI check will be returned to the CCRE, which will disseminate the state and national results to the Town Manager.
