Chapter 98 BUSINESS, PROFESSIONAL AND OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING.
Section 98-47 TRADING IN SECONDHAND ARTICLES.
A. For every license for trading in any kind of secondhand articles, junk,
old metal, rags or
other like commodities, there shall be paid a license tax of thirty dollars ($30.).
B. On every license for a canvasser or agent canvassing the town for the purpose
of buying
junk or other matter, for junk dealers or for themselves, there shall be paid a license tax of
twenty-five dollars ($25.). Any person doing business under this section shall give bond
in the
penalty of two hundred dollars ($200.) for his faithful compliance with the law, and such bond
shall be delivered to the Assessor upon issuance of the license.
