Section 134-28 VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES; LIABILITIES
A. Any
person who violates this Article shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than one thousand
dollars
($1,000.) or imprisoned in jail for a period not exceeding twelve (12)
months,
either or both. Each day such a violation continues shall
constitute a
separate offense.
B. In
addition to any other penalties provided:
1. Every
use of the town's sewer or
water system shall be civilly liable in damages to the town for any
injuries to
the town's sewer or water system or for any injuries to third persons
for which
the town is liable caused or resulting from any violation of the
provisions of
this Article.
2. In
addition to any criminal
penalties for violations of this Article, the Town of Front Royal shall
be
empowered to seek injunctive relief against any person to remove any
condition
or to prevent any act which results in or contributes to a violation of
this
Article or which may constitute a threat or hazard to town water and
sewer
facilities, the health and safety of town personnel and citizens or a
threat or
hazard to receiving bodies of water.
