The Administrative Division consists of the Chief, (2) Captains, (1) Administrative Assistant and (1) Office Assistant. They are responsible for the implementation of policy procedures, all personnel matters, budgeting and other administrative duties.

CHIEF OF POLICE – Ronald A. Williamson
Chief Williamson oversees the all operations of the Front Royal Police Department. He directly reports to the Town Manager all activities of the Department on a regular basis. The Chief of Police is considered the Public Safety Officer for the Town of Front Royal and performs his job accordingly.

ADMINISTRATIVE CAPTAIN – Richard H. Furr
Captain Furr provides administrative support in the Office of the Chief of Police and all divisions of the Police Department. He directly supervises Dispatch, Records, Community Relations, Criminal Investigations and the Drug and Gang Task Force Investigations. He schedules and monitors all training for the Police Department.

OPERATIONS CAPTAIN – C. Mark Werner
Captain Werner is responsible for every aspect of the Patrol Division and the Emergency Services Team of the Police Department. His duties include personnel scheduling, supervision of special events and securing & monitoring grants.
