TOWN OF FRONT ROYAL LAUNCHES NEW REDESIGNED WEBSITE

New Look and Upgraded Features Bring New Relevance to Town's Website

The Town of Front Royal launched its redesigned municipal website today. The new web environment marks a dramatic improvement in the appearance, navigability, and usability of the town's website.

The new site retains its information about town events; the full text of the Town of Front Royal Municipal Code; forms for citizens; and the latest Town Council meeting agendas and minutes available for download. Each page of the site has been redesigned in the first phase of an ongoing project aimed at improving and updating the Town's web presence. Additional features include an upgraded town map, the current local weather forecast, and a more powerful event calendar.

The new town web site takes advantage of the latest advances in internet technology. The site has a clean, crisp graphical interface, and is powered by a leading Content Management System which will allow the site to be updated on an hour-by-hour basis as required.

The Town recognises that an attractive and easy-to-use website is essential for delivering accurate and up-to-date information to citizens and potential visitors alike. The development of the new municipal website is a joint effort being carried out by each of the town's departments working together with the Department of Information Technology.
