Front Royal Planning Commisssion

Meets On Third Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm
Warren County Government Center

The Planning Commission is a six-member panel appointed by the Town Council for four-year staggered terms. The Commission is charged with the development of a Town Plan to manage the growth of the community. They review and act on all site plan requests and make recommendations to the Town Council on all special use permits, subdivisions, rezoning and land development requests, and on all amendments to the subdivision and zoning ordinances.

Front Royal Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA)

Meets On Third Monday of each month at 6:30pm
Warren County Government Center

The Board of Zoning Appeals consists of a five-member panel appointed by the Judge of the Warren County Circuit Court for five-year staggered terms. The Board is responsible for hearing and deciding appeals of any administrative decision or interpretation related to the zoning ordinance and for the review of requests for variances to any provision within the zoning ordinance.

Front Royal Board of Architectural Review (BAR)

Meets On First Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm
Warren County Government Center

The Board of Architectural Review is a five-member panel appointed by the Town Council who serve four-year staggered terms. The Board is responsible for reviewing architectural changes in the Historic District and for conducting studies necessary to help ensure preservation of the Town's historic character and resources.

Urban Forestry Advisory Commission (UFAC)

Meets On Fourth Monday of each month at 5:00pm
Town Hall Conference Room

The Urban Forestry Advisory Commission is a six-member panel appointed by the Town Council who serve four-year staggered terms. The Commission is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of an Urban Forestry Management Program, for the education of the general public about proper tree care practices, and to support the efforts of other groups interested in urban forestry in Front Royal.

Front Royal - Warren County Economic Development Authority (EDA)

Meets On Third Friday of each month at 8:00am
EDA Conference Room

This is a seven-member board, with five members appointed by the Warren County Board of Supervisors and two by the Front Royal Town Council, to four-year staggered terms. The EDA is responsible for fostering and stimulating economic and industrial development in the local area for the good of the citizenry.
